What is HHRCO?

Energy companies are obliged to reduce the cost of heating homes by £3.7bn. HHRCO requires energy suppliers to provide measures to assist a specific group of households known as the Affordable Warmth Group. The goal is to help them affordably heat their homes. Under HHCRO the measures installed must lead to a saving in the households heating bills.

Therefore a wide range of heating and insulation measures are included as below:

• Qualifying Boilers (LPG or Gas)
• Electric Storage Heaters
• Room in Roof
• Cavity Wall Insulation
• Virgin Loft
• Loft Top ups
• Solid Wall Insulation

In addition to the standard measure we can also look at project based solutions such as District Heating and Renewables.
